09 March 2009                                                                                                             Page two

Well, another day without my computer's. It's a drag!
We (me) are so dependent on this Modern Marvel then don't know what to do when it's not right there
at our (my) fingertips.
Fortunately for me I have the use of Raine's laptop. Although my imaging program is on my
bROkEn desktop. So I'm unable to process any pictures right now. So anything on these blog pages
will be straight outta the camera. YIKES!!!
I'll try to find something in my archives to put up while I wait for the diagnosis of my poor old hp...
If it's terminal and I have to replace it (ouch!!!) I'll have to finally learn real photoshop, as the
program I currently use has been discontinued.  (heavy sigh...)
Anyway...I think I'll post some of my rooftop pictures of downtown Bakersfield. I know some of you
reading this have never been to this wonderful city! And right now the weather is perfect. The nights
are still kind of cold but the days are nice, warm and sunny!

Actually this is of the Mountains surrounding Bakersfield covered in Snow. Taken from the
parking lot of the In n Out on the I-5 at the bottom of the Grapevine. On Valentine's Day 2009.
These mountains are on the North side of Baketown.
Taken from the roof of the parking structure at 18th and Eye St.
I really liked the
shadows cast by
the trees onto the
brick building.
I like shadows!
This is the Parking
Structure where I go
to watch the Sunset.
And yes I climb the
twelve flights to the
top carrying all my
gear. I'm so Thankful
that I now have a
backpack camera bag.
I just need to get a
case for my monster
tripod and I'll be set.
